We are pleased to announce that we’ve agreed the takeover of Ayrshire based Eiicon. Founded over 10 years ago, and operated by Robert Quinn, we are excited to welcome a whole bunch of new clients to the pcr family. Eiicon offers similar services to the pcr Abica Group including support for Windows technologies, cloud solutions (including Office 365) and connectivity and VoIP services, all which will begin transferring to the pcr team over the course of February and March.
Founder and CEO of pcr, Nick Cohen, says ‘since the sale of PC Repair back in 2012 we’ve focused on growing in the B2B sector all around the Glasgow and Edinburgh areas, in the past 12-18 months we’ve picked up UK wide customers but this opportunity will help us establish a better foot in the Ayrshire market. Robert has built up a very loyal happy group of customers and we’re working hard with him to ensure a seamless transfer for all.’
In October 2015, pcr launched bizanywhere, a per user per month subscription service which bundles user devices, Microsoft cloud services and access to the pcr support helpdesk. Many Eiicon customers are in discussions around this service, perfect for small businesses that want access to the latest technology and to receive productivity benefits working from the cloud without a large cash investment.
News of this next step has created a strong buzz within the pcr team as it continues to grow following the arrival of another apprentice joining at the start of January. The team look forward to welcoming these clients on board and hope word will spread throughout the local Ayrshire business community.
