pcr is looking to recruit an ambitious, driven and passionate individual to take on the new role of Client Account Manager. In line with the company’s growth plans, this role is a first and will work alongside our entrepreneurial Managing Director. pcr is a leading IT provider and has ambitions to grow the client base and client size without compromising on the standards and quality of the service that is delivered.
This role will be filled by someone who is driven to develop new business relationships and work on those relationships over a number of years, ensuring customer retention remains at its current rate of near 100%. You should have experience in a similar role with technical ‘appreciation’ to be able to function as a buffer between the client and the services delivered. You should also have experience working with companies with turnovers up to £50m.
Experience and knowledge on the following technologies will stand you well:
- Microsoft and Apple Desktop Platforms (Vista, 7, 8)
- Microsoft Server technologies (Server and Small Business Server 2003, 2008, 2011 & 2012)
- Microsoft Office 365 and other Cloud Hosted Technologies
- Networking Products
Previous technical backgrounds are useful, however a strong focus on Business Development and Account Management is key. Customer service is at the heart of the company, similar beliefs are essential.
Owing to the nature of the role, there are no ‘set’ working hours. An estimated 40 hours per week is suggested, however additional time out of office hours may be required to attend events, dinners and to assist with meeting client deadlines.

Salary negotiable and will not be capped. This will be made up of a mixture of base and earnings based on retained clients.
